Handling systems – Integrated Automation for Injection Moulding Machines
Efficient parts feeding and removal
BOY handling systems provide automatic parts feeding and removal, robot use and the integration, and support for complex gripper systems – all directly integrated into the injection moulding machine. The freely protruding clamping unit, generous tie bar and platen distances, and ample machine frame space enable compact, space-saving automation without additional setup.

Intelligent control & modular pickers
With the Procan ALPHA® control system, handling systems can be operated seamlessly via programmable I/Os or the ‘integrated handling control’ option, eliminating the need for a separate controller. Pneumatic two- or three-axis pickers under the protective cover allow efficient removal of sprues and injection-moulded parts, even using suction cups.
Versatile applications & space savings
BOY handling systems support production in clean rooms, packaging, weighing or sorting applications while minimizing space requirements. Standardised interfaces allow integration with advanced automation solutions, making them an essential component of modern plastics processing.
Customised removal devices / pickers
Pneumatic integrated pickers available for:
| BOY XS E | BOY 20 E | BOY 35 E | BOY 50 E | BOY 80 E |
| BOY 25 E | BOY 60 E | BOY 100 E |
A wide range of customised removal devices or pickers (two- or three-axis pickers) is available for BOY injection moulding machines. These are usually positioned under the protective cover to save space.
Pneumatic integrated pickers are used for:
- Removing sprues from the injection mould
- Removing injection-moulded parts (suction cups, etc. can also be used as an option instead of gripping tongs)
When using the pneumatic integral pickers, the relevant injection moulding machine must be equipped with option 12000 “Interface for integrated handling control”.
